Monster Under The Bed!!
February 24, 2009After going to the bike show at the NEC Birmingham, we have come to the conclusion that we would like to put a monster under the bed.!!
Ducati make a compact lightweight sports bike that we are keen to put in the v-trek van. We do now need to do a bit of careful measuring and manufacturing of a suitable ramp/stand for the bike in the boot. If the bike will fit, it will make an excellent touring vehicle for two once at location. Will keep you posted and pictures once we get to that stage.

Interior Of Mercedes Show-Van
November 27, 2008The new show van has come back from the workshop in the burr walnut finish, which looks fantastic! The new design with the curves on the bathroom wall and the end cupboard softens the lines within the van. In the bathroom there is now a brush aluminum shower wall which reflect the the modern LED lighting giving a new look to the interior of the v-trek bathroom.

Privacy Windows Arrive!
November 21, 2008It has been a long old wait but finally we have got sorted with the privacy windows for the v-trek van. A wait well worth waiting for! We have not seen any other camper van that has these particular windows in as yet. The beauty for them is that they look a limo black from the outside, but do not restrict the light from coming in. With the flush finish they look like a glass window, but actually they are a double glazed plastic pane. Take a look at the picture.

Travelling With Dogs
September 26, 2008A new addition to one of the V-trek camper vans is a dog cage. This allows for up to two small dogs to be carried safely while travelling. A cage has been made under the sofa which can be pulled out to allow extra room for the dogs, or removed completely and replaced with a draw for extra storage.

V-trek Show van
August 21, 2008Work has started on the V-trek show van. The interior of this van will be finished in a walnut veneer, which will look completely different to the Carbon fibre finish of the last van. We are hoping that the V-trek van will be finished in time for the Goodwood Revival weekend at the end of September. fingers crossed! Just hope that we can finally get sorted with the tinted windows.

Mercedes Campervan Interior
August 7, 2008The V-trek campervan came back from the fitters last Friday and it looks fantastic! The carbon Fibre is a very retro modern look that works really well with the brush stainless steel and the blue LED lighting. We are still awaiting for the delivery of the tinted windows, at present we have inserted clear panes but these will be changed at a later date. The customer of this van had the extra of Recaro seats which makes all the difference for the passenger and the driver, well worth the extra.

Painting Mercedes Campervan Boot
May 27, 2008A great step forward, today we took our first van to the body shop in Spalding to have the boot painted. We have got all the problems finally ironed out. They think that they should be finished by the end of this week. Then we have got our second van booked in, it will need to be fetched from the fitters workshop, as the interior is not yet finished, but slots in well as our fitter is going away on holiday for a week while the van is in at the body-shop. When the van returns I will post a picture of the finished painted back and boot of the v-trek van.
